Let’s face it—love and romance between two people is the most common topic of the popular song. What are the most cherished and enduring love songs of the 20th century? Enjoy classics from the teens (Me and My Gal) to 1972’s (First Time Ever I Saw Your Face). Some of our best songwriters are represented, like Hoagy Carmichael, Cole Porter and Rodgers & Hammerstein. You will also hear our most popular singers, including Tony Bennett’s The Way You Look Tonight, Nat King Cole with Unforgettable, Elvis Presley singing Can’t Help Falling in Love and, of course, Frank Sinatra.
