Select Board Wary of Going ‘Nicotine-Free’
November 15, 2024
• Needham Select Board members share their reservations about introducing a Nicotine-Free Generation policy in the community.
The Needham Public Health Division has been testing the waters on introducing a new town-wide policy that would sunset sales of most nicotine-related products within the town. At the November 12th Select Board meeting, there was some hesitation among members as they weighed the possible impacts of adopting such measures.
To learn more about the policy itself, Municipal Producer Yuxiao Yuan took a look at what exactly was being proposed, and how it would work.
