Sun Screen? Needham’s Got You Covered!
August 17, 2023
• IMPACT Melanoma and the Town of Needham installed sunscreen dispensers in recreational areas to help locals prevent skin cancer.
We all know it is important, but some of us are just not vigilant when it comes to using sunscreen. We rationalize it to ourselves. “You know, it is kind of overcast. I don’t need it.”, or “Gee, the sunscreen I have has expired. It’s August. I don’t want to buy a whole tube….” Next thing you know, you have a sunburn. The town Health and Human Services Department has partnered with IMPACT Melanoma to help make it easier for us to banish those excuses and take better care of ourselves and our families. Little yellow dispensers have popped up that may make your late summer days in the sun a healthier experience.
