Designing Pollard’s Evolution
March 19, 2026
• The vision for a new middle school became a little more concrete as state and town boards work to advance the project.
With the recent vote to approve the preferred schematic report from the Massachusetts School Building Authority, the Pollard Middle School Project Team has been able to begin their next phase of the project: the schematic design.
Project lead architects and project managers presented the team’s most recent design updates to the Needham School Committee at their meeting on March 17.
The project team also announced that they recently selected a construction manager at risk who will assist in making sure the project stays on schedule and on budget.
The project team will next present the new design updates to the Needham Select Board at their meeting on March 24.
Municipal Producer Melissa Marchese has the details.
