Do We Need to Save Water?
With low levels of rainfall so far this year we wanted to know how the drought is affecting the water supply in town and how residents can help conserve water.
No one can argue with the fact that 2022 has been a really dry year. With drought conditions over the entire area, Needham has been really lucky in the fact that they had not enacted a water ban. This is because Needham has not one, but two water sources- local wells and reservoirs and a feed from the MWRA. This does not mean, however, that we don’t need to conserve water. Ashley Morin spoke with our local officials about using water wisely and why Needham is perfectly positioned in times of drought.
