Public Libraries, Pseudonyms, and Valley of the Dolls: One Writer’s Journey

Stephen McCauley, a Boston-based novelist is the author of eight or 10 novels (depending how you count), three of which have been made into feature films including The Object of My Affection with Jennifer Aniston. He’ll speak about his love of libraries, pen names and his new novel, You Only Call When You’re in Trouble. The New York Times Book Review tagged McCauley “the secret love child of Edith Wharton and Woody Allen” and a novelist “You’d Most Like to Drive Across the Country With.”
