MASS Honors Needham Teens
November 13, 2025
• Two Needham High School students were recognized for their academic excellence and their impact on the community.
Each year, the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents recognize the efforts of two high school students who rank within the top five academically in their class. This year, seniors Samantha Meininger and Marco Barbosa were presented with the honor by Superintendent Daniel Gutekanst in front of the Needham School Committee at their Nov. 5 meeting. The committee had a chance to hear that, while their academic credentials are impressive, it was their efforts both within and beyond the school community that brought distinction to these two particular individuals.
