Maintaining Independence through Community Connections
October 23, 2025
• The Needham Council on Aging is seeking volunteers for their Community Connections Program.
Often, it’s the little things that make a difference. The window air conditioner that is up past the first frost, or the forgotten errand that can’t be run before dark. For an aging population, these small inconveniences can dramatically impact their quality of life. The Needham Council on Aging is looking to fill those needs and fight isolation amongst senior citizens by offering opportunities to make connections within the town. They are hoping to find individuals that can make a big difference with just a little time.
