
Water Main Break Impacts Chestnut Street

• A cracked water main led to street closures and area businesses closing for the day.
Road and business closures resulted from a cracked water main that shut down part of Chestnut Street for 10 hours on Wednesday, December 11th. While the cause for the pipe’s failure was not able to be determined, it drew attention to the town’s aging infrastructure and highlighted the need for funding to study the matter further. Ashley Julier reports.
