Sharing Both Message and Medium
April 4, 2024
• Needham artist, Lisa Rosowsky, talks about how she uses research to drive the story behind her art at the Needham Free Public Library.
The artistic process is explored in a presentation by Lisa Rosowsky entitled “Art as Storytelling”. The talk centers on how she finds inspiration, and then finds the mechanism and materials that best help her share the stories she painstakingly researches. Before the event, she met with producer Ashley Julier and gave us a preview, sharing her work and describing how working in mixed media can help her share big stories in ways that are personal and approachable. The Friends of the Needham Public Library presentation was recorded by the Needham Channel, and will be available for viewing online and on television later this week.
