Rocket Coach Profile: CJ Golbranson

• While the softball team is getting ready to move to a new field, the baseball team is welcoming a new head coach. He is hoping to lend support and get them rounding the basis on a steady path.

The spring tryouts and practices are a traditional warm-up to the season. While new teams get a feel for each other and their abilities, expectations grow and excitement builds. If there is some extra energy buzzing around the Rockets baseball team this year, that may be because returning athletes are not only welcoming new teammates this week, but they are also being led by a new head coach. We had a chance to catch up with CJ Golbranson, and spoke with him about his background, his coaching philosophy and his approach to the upcoming season.
