Rockets Blast Milton With Big 3rd Quarter

• Needham Girls Basketball beat the Wildcats at the A Gym.
After falling for the third time this season, on the road at Wellesley, Rockets Girls Hoops came home to meet Milton and pulled out a 45-30 victory at the A Gym. After only leading 26-20 at halftime, Needham went on a run that became a double digit lead in the third quarter thanks to a barrage of three pointers.
The Rockets would hit three from beyond the arc in a row and five at one point to take a 15 point advantage, with Katherine Leslie, Annie Cammozi and Callie McCarthy among the players who hit threes. McCarthy lead all scorers with 15 points, along with 9 rebounds. Eva Andrews also added 15 boards for Needham, who improved to 9-3 on the season. The Rockets will head to Weymouth on Friday, February 2nd and will return home to face Framingham on Tuesday, February 6th.
