
MBTA Ponders How to Make Fares More Fair

Transportation is…expensive. Finding the right balance to support the MBTA system and not raise costs beyond what riders can afford is a particularly tough challenge. So when an opportunity arose to make a popular, but temporary, program permanent, the MBTA wanted to test the waters. They are seeking feedback to find out whether everyone is willing to go their way.
