Athlete Profile: Lily Schmalz

• Lily Schmalz is a three-sport athlete who credits a family member with inspiring her to succeed.
It’s already the middle of August, and in a few weeks we will be seeing the Needham High School Rockets make their way back onto the gridiron, pitches, courts and fields. We are psyched and chomping at the bit! As we while away the final weeks of summer vacation, we wanted to check in with an athlete we expect to see a LOT in the upcoming year. Lily Schmalz is planning on being active throughout her senior year. At a time when many of her peers are looking to slow down, she is looking to step things up. What is her motivation?
