
State of Emergency Declared in Needham
August 11, 2023
Due to the heavy rainfall on Tuesday, August 8th, the Town of Needham has declared a state of emergency.
According to the town’s official statement, “The intent of this declaration is to expedite the Town’s emergency response and facilitate the deployment of any available State, Federal, and private sector resources to help recover, repair and/or replace lost or damaged property.”
Town Manager Kate Fitzpatrick signed the declaration on Friday, August 11th, which you can view here.
