“In everyone’s life…”

• The rain may have dampened the ground of Memorial Park, but not the celebratory spirit of the commencement exercises for the Needham High School Class of 2023.
A little adversity can be a good thing. It’s a challenge to do better, a test of will, dedication and perseverance. It may also be the best way to sum up the Class of 2023. They had their graduation put off a day, just to have it pour in the middle of their rescheduled ceremony. They made it through, though. and were able to take it all in stride. Kathryn Brodie looks back at the event, and pulls out some words that will hopefully stick with the grads in the years ahead.
