It is so important for kids to have role models growing up. Their first ones are their parents, but as they gain experience in the world, others join that short list. Oftentimes it is someone they have close contact with, a teacher or a coach. A coach is a natural fit, as they teach young athletes concepts such as teamwork and community. Sports producer Kristen Connors found one in Dina Hannigan, and while her full story will unfold in an upcoming Rockets Report, she couldn’t wait to release a portion of it a little early…
