Looking Back (and Ahead) on NUARI
Aired December 15, 2022.
Members of the Needham Unite Against Racism Initiative, or NUARI, came by the studio to talk about its progress since its creation two years ago.
It’s hard to believe that the end of the year is already here. With 2023 looming ahead, we thought it to be a good time to check in on one of the initiatives that has generated a lot of interest over the past few years, but which hasn’t been heard from recently. The Needham Unite Against Racism Initiative was a group that brought community leaders together. Municipal producer Yuxiao Yuan sat down with the Select Board’s representatives for an extended interview which will air in January. This video shares some of the highlights recapping the organizations origins and progress to date.
