Needham At the Jimmy Walk
Aired October 6, 2022.
A local family participated in the Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, October 2 to support the Stella Hope Fund.
Every year, thousands of walkers and runners take to the streets to help draw attention to and raise money for the efforts of the Dana Farber hospital. Needham is always well-represented in the Jimmy Fund Walk, with families and individuals donating to the cause and tracing the course of the Boston Marathon. It is a cause that means so much to so many. This year, we tagged along with one such family as they made their journey, and found out why this day, and their involvement, was so important to them. Kathryn Brodie reports.
