Needham Road Race Targets Alzheimers
Aired September 22, 2022.
A look at the 9th Annual Jog Your Memory 5k to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research and care.
If you were around Needham on September 18th, you may have noticed quite a few more joggers and runners on the streets of Needham. These runners were doing more than enjoying the last weekend of the summer. They were raising money to help a good cause: funding research combatting Alzheimer’s disease. The event was started by a Needham couple in the wake of a family member’s diagnosis. Kathryn Brodie has the story.
