New NFD Chief Sworn In
Tom Conroy, the new chief of the Needham Fire Department, was sworn in during a Select Board meeting on Tuesday, July 26.
Friends, family, co-workers and well-wishers packed the Select Board chamber at Town Hall on July 26th to bear witness as Tom Conroy got sworn in as Needham’s newest Fire Chief. Conroy had been filling in as interim fire chief after Chief Dennis Condon retired on July 4th, but his posting to the position was made official when Town Clerk Tedi Eaton led the oath. We were at the meeting and heard what he had to say.
