Day of Peace, Remembrance and Community

The Needham VFW will be hosting a special event sponsored by AmeriCorps. This will be a day honoring the lives lost on 9/11. The theme is a day of peace geared toward youth aged 5-25. Participants will create sundry kits for homeless veterans and communities, create a peace mural, create Than-You cards for first responders, and enjoy multicultural table activites, consensus building games and food!
