From Conversation to Action

For Parents, Educators, and Caregivers
Recent headlines about sexual violence have left many parents and community members searching for a thoughtful space to process concerns, ask questions, and learn together. With sponsorship from the Domestic Violence Action Committee, Jessica Teperow (the CEO and Founder of JT Consulting and a Needham parent. With more than two decades of experience working with organizations that address sexual and domestic violence) will lead an interactive workshop designed to help parents and caregivers talk with their child(ren) about violence prevention in age-appropriate, evidence-informed ways. Participants will explore practical strategies to recognize warning signs and become active bystanders. This supportive session will make room for difficult questions and honest conversation, while equipping attendees with concrete tools to help the young people in their lives feel safer, more informed, and empowered.
