Non-Profit Profile: Cradles to Crayons
July 6, 2023
• Cradles to Crayons is a multi-city organization that seeks to connect children with clothing and supplies they might otherwise not be able to afford.
It may feel as if the summer has only just begun, but some people are already thinking about the beginning of the new school year. No, we are not talking about the retailers (some of whom have already jumped straight ahead to Halloween). The folks who run “Cradles to Crayons” are working to get children ready for September, and they are seeking help to do it, through donations, financial contributions and volunteerism. We spoke with Aubrey Conquergood, the Executive Director of Cradles to Crayons of Massachusetts, about the need, their mission, and how we can help.
You can learn more about the organization, the cities it serves, and how to get involved at the Cradles to Crayons website.
