More Than Accolades

• The Charles River Regional Chamber and Get Connected! created a list of leaders of color in the area to help facilitate DEI initiatives.
It is always great to be recognized for doing your job well, and, if you do, there are many opportunities to garner praise from clients and peers. If you are really impactful, a professional organization or publication may choose to include you in a list of influential people. But what does that list do, beyond getting your name out there in a positive light? If the curator of that list is the Charles River Regional Chamber, they are hoping it will do quite a lot. They recently started a new initiative where gathering the list of honorees was just the beginning.
