May 22, 2026
• Here’s everything you need to know about the 2026 spring postseason.
This spring, four of the five Needham teams we covered will likely qualify for the postseason. Both tennis teams also earned high seeds in their tournaments.
Girls lacrosse earned the 24 seed in their tournament after finishing the regular season 6-12 under new head coach Gianna Cottrell. They will go on the road to face No. 9 Lincoln-Sudbury in the first round, with the date and time to be determined.
Boys tennis will host No. 26 Natick in the first round after their 15-3 regular season earned them the seventh seed. Girls tennis finished their regular season undefeated, 15-0, and as the sixth seed they await the winner of No. 27 Plymouth North vs. No. 38 Springfield Central.
The brackets for boys volleyball will be released on Tuesday, May 26 at 11 a.m.
Baseball and softball brackets will be released on Wednesday, May 27 at 11 a.m. Boys lacrosse will also be released on May 27, but at 1 p.m.
Full brackets can be found here.
