Pollard Plan Prepped for MSBA Submission
December 11, 2025
• The School Building Committee and the Permanent Public Building Committee spent the last few weeks preparing to embrace a preferred plan for a new Pollard School.
With the Dec. 18 deadline just days away, town officials are set to meet Monday night to cast a vote cementing an approach to the middle school project. While the planning process will continue through the spring, with a June deadline expected for the submission of a final design, this week’s action eliminates many of the previous options being considered by the town. Municipal Producer Yuxiao Yuan tracked the progress made over the last few weeks, as the School Building Committee worked to arrive at a consensus amongst Needham’s many stakeholders and strategized to create a project the Massachusetts School Building Authority would opt to support.
