Top Plays of Fall 2025
November 21, 2025
• Check out some of the best plays we captured from five Needham teams this fall.
This fall was another successful season for Needham High School sports teams. After starting the season 0-3-2, field hockey picked up their first win of the season against Weymouth on Sept. 17. They went on to finish 5-11-2, and upset Concord-Carlisle to close out the regular season before being eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Boys soccer earned the four seed after finishing the regular season with an impressive 12-3-3 record, while girls soccer was ranked first heading into the playoffs. Girls volleyball only suffered three losses all season, two of which came against Newton North. Each of those teams were eliminated in the quarterfinals or earlier, but each had incredible moments along the way. And, while football didn’t qualify for the postseason, they gave us plenty of highlights as well.
