Needham Remembers
May 29, 2025
• Needham residents and dignitaries gathered to reflect on the sacrifices of the individuals who gave their lives in service of their country and the families they had left behind.
Although it is casually referred to as the “unofficial start of summer,” the true significance of the Memorial Day weekend was not lost on those who came together at several locations in Needham on the morning of May 26. Politicians joined residents, veterans, scouts and town officials to share their thoughts and pay their respects for those who fell in the name of our nation and the price paid by those left behind. Our cameras were at Memorial Field for the culmination of the days events, giving us a look back at some of the day’s reflections.
