For Massachusetts utility consumers, it has been an expensive winter. Massive jumps in both electric and home heating gas prices have made the news and landed on the legislative agenda for the state. We spoke with state Sen. Becca Rausch and a representative of Eversource Gas to gain insight on what is driving up the costs this winter, and what is being done to keep people warm…and still solvent.
