• The Envision Needham Center Working Group would like the public’s feedback on downtown’s walkability, accessibility, bike access, pedestrian safety, parking, outdoor dining, drivability and more.
The Envision Needham Center Working Group may not be one of the town organizations that spring to your mind when thinking of the town’s growth over the years, but their mission’s roots run deep. The effort to revitalize the town center’s business district and make it safer and easier to travel along it has been going on in short bursts for over fifteen years. The town has organized the group to garner feedback and pull together a cohesive plan to redesign the streetscape along Great Plain Avenue. This week, they will be presenting an Open House, of sorts, where members of the group hope to engage with residents and people who use the Town Center. It will take place over the course of two days.
