Go Figure: Students Hope to Restore Math Track

• Two students are fighting to restore an advanced math track from Pollard Middle School through the high school, but administrators say there are different solutions to the problem.

Mathematics comprise one of the fundamental foundations of every educational system, but students hoping to achieve in the discipline were frustrated when advanced coursework was removed from the middle school curriculum. They began a grassroots effort to reintroduce the accelerated pathway. The administrators share the work that went into their conclusion and offer their thoughts on alternative answers.
