When the Zoning Board gathers for its September meeting, things will look and feel a little bit different. That is because longtime chair Jon Schneider will no longer be running the show. He retired from the board in August after a tenure of almost 30 years. While the ZBA may be among the more…understated of the town boards, its agendas often stoke a great deal of passion from Needham residents, businesses, and developers. We spoke with Jon about his time on the Zoning Board and why volunteering to serve on it has meant so much to him.
