Redhawks on Their Minds

• Counting down to the start of a new season, two games loom large in the minds of the Needham High School Varsity Football team.

Last week, we dropped by Media Day for Rockets Football, and found the team to be pumped up and raring to tackle the 2023 fall season. In our first report, sports producer Kristen Connors provided an overview of the prospects of the team, and we marveled at how the challenges they are talking about this year mirror a certain NFL team. This week we continue the look, and the comparisons get even more closely drawn. They shared with us the recurring theme they are hoping will lead to their success, and talk about the two big games bookending their season.
