Aired October 13, 2022.
SHINE councilors can help those on Medicare select the best plans for their needs during the open enrollment period from October 15 – December 7. They are also available throughout the year to answer many Medicare related questions.
The Medicare enrollment period for 2023 just kicked off on October 15th. For those who are entering the program for the first time, or looking to make changes based off of changing health conditions and program adjustments, enrollment can be an intimidating and confusing process. Fortunately, there are some advisors available through a program called SHINE, or Serving the Health Insurance Needs of Everyone. Learn more about this program, and how you can take advantage of it in this story from the Needham Channel News.
