Public Safety Building Open–Officially!
July 7, 2022
• The Town of Needham held a dedication for the new Public Safety building, which houses the headquarters for Needham police and fire.
In its own way, the construction of the new fire station and public safety complex was a bit like bypass surgery. Police and Fire functions couldn’t stop. So a way had to be found that would allow for their facilities to be completely replaced, and yet not get in the way of conducting business. That made for a very long project. So officials were more than happy to have the chance to celebrate the dedication of the new buildings on June 30th. It was an accomplishment worth commemorating, and a moment to remember.
