DESCRIPTION:Join focus groups to help MetroWest SHINE better serve bilingual residents and people with disabilities. \nMetroWest SHINE provides free\, unbiased health insurance counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers across 22 cities and towns. We are launching an effort to ensure Medicare resources reach underserved populations by: \n\nRaising awareness of SHINE’s services among bilingual individuals and individuals with disabilities.\nRecruiting and training bilingual volunteers or agency staff to provide support as SHINE counselors.\nPartnering with community spaces and identifying host sites\, making it easier for clients to receive assistance in an environment they already know and trust.\n\nIf you live or work in MetroWest\, especially with bilingual communities or the disability community\, we’d love your input on our recruitment and partnership strategy. Join us for a one-hour focus group over Zoom: \n\n\nMonday\, September 28\, 2:00 – 3:00 PM \n\n\nTuesday\, September 29\, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\nLanguage interpretation is available on request.
