DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of Needham and the Needham High School Social Studies Department are co-sponsoring Students Advocate for Change\, the Needham High School Civics Showcase\, on Saturday\, May 30 at 2-3:30 PM at Powers Hall\, Needham Town Hall. \nAll high school students in MA are required to select a state or local issue and prepare an advocacy plan. At the Showcase\, more than 100 eleventh grade students in 50 groups will share their research\, materials\, and positions in a science fair type setting. \nThe public is encouraged to come and talk with the next generation of policy advocates about the issues important to them.
