League member Vicki Krupp will interview Ms. King\, followed by audience questions. \nKatie King is only the second Town Manager to serve Needham in its history. The Select Board appoints the Town Manager as the CEO for the Town. Come meet Ms. King and hear what she has to say about her new role\, plans\, etc. \nThe event is free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:Students Advocate for Change\nSaturday\, May 31\, 2025 at 2pm\nPowers Hall\, Needham Town Hall\nPrior to the Showcase\, 11th grade students are making their Advocacy Plans with their teachers and classmates. LWV-Needham has prepared a Student Advocacy Guide and a series of videos for the students’ reference. \nAlso included is a list of MA legislative bills and Needham issues that students may find useful for choosing their issue area.
