Pastel Demonstration with Jeanne Rosier Smith

Needham Art Association and the Wellesley Society of Artists welcome award-winning painter Jeanne Rosier Smith for a pastel demonstration. Jeanne is best known for her seascapes, and she will share how she gives her ocean waves movement and life, finding a balance between definition and suggestion. How can we capture a sense of life and reality when the subject is motion? How can we create the feeling, the sound, the spray of waves?
This event will be held at the Needham Free Public Library and is free and open to the public.
