Join in the kickoff event for Mindful Community on Thursday, October 26th from 7:00-8:00pm (Memorial Park Fieldhouse, Needham, MA) for “Hope Starts With Us – Back to School Anxiety”. Produced by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), “Hope Starts With Us” will help tella story and ask important questions around students’ anxieties as they head back to school. How are students feeling in this time where we are kind of done with the pandemic, kind of not? How can students cope with anxiety about school shootings? How are students balancing not just the pressure to perform at school, but on social media? Staff from NAMI local affiliates will also be on site at the event to guide discussion after viewing the brief video. This event is free to all. Please register here if you plan to attend:
