Su Shi (1037-1101) is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished figures in Chinese Literature. Join us for this fascinating program highlighting the life of the Chinese calligrapher, essayist, gastronome, pharmacologist, poet, politician, and travel writer during the Song dynasty. Dr. Fields is a history professor who taught at California State University at San Bernardino, State University at Albany, University of San Diego, and more. Dr Fields recently relocated to Needham and we are excited to welcome him to the Center.
