Fool Me Twice: The New Administration’s Anti-Immigration Playbook
January 27 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
The Needham Area Immigration Justice Task Force and the Needham Human Rights Committee are co-hosting a forum featuring immigration attorney and Needham resident Heather Yountz, on January 27, 2025, at 7:30 pm, at the Center at the Heights, 300 Hillside Ave., Needham.
Ms. Yountz is Senior Immigration Attorney at the Massachusetts Law Reform Institute. The forum will focus on the future of U.S. immigration policy, based on her past experiences and future expectations. She has titled her presentation: “Fool Me Twice: The New Administration’s Anti-Immigration Playbook.” A Question-and-Answer Period will follow.
The forum will conclude with a special prestation from STITCCH (Students Teaching Instruments to Create Community Harmony), www.stitcch.com. Needham High co-founders Miles Yountz and Maggie Sharrard and others will share their experiences teaching violin and chorus to low-income children, many of whom are immigrants and/or part of the shelter system.
Community organizations will be on hand at tables before and after the presentations to discuss their work and share materials.
