The Needham Housing Coalition and their co-sponsors, in partnership with the CHAPA Municipal Engagement Initiative Team and the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA), are pleased to present the program “Confronting the History of Housing Discrimination.” The program will cover topics such as defining racism, exploring the racial wealth and opportunity gap, examining the history of zoning and housing discrimination in building an inequitable America, discussing affordable housing within this context, framing the challenge, and promoting the creation of an inclusive community by making a strong case for affordable housing development.
