Pumpkins, Pooches Ring in Fall at Needham Harvest Fair

• The perennial celebration welcomed families back to Greene’s Field to check out emergency vehicles, play yard games, win prizes and more.

Fears of gloomy skies and precipitation faded under sunny skies on Sunday, when the annual Harvest Fair commenced again. Predictions of foul weather threatened to postpone the autumnal tradition earlier in the week, but the event continued as scheduled, welcoming hundreds of people onto Greene’s Field.

More than 125 local and regional organizations tabled for the fair, organized by the Charles River Regional Chamber, and gave out pumpkins, flu shots, candy and other freebies. The Needham Channel and Needham Local were there to speak with attendees, but also to snap some photos. Check out some of the sights, courtesy of Special Projects Producer Derick Risner:
