The League of Women Voters of Needham and the Needham High School Social Studies Department are co-sponsoring Students Advocate for Change, the Needham High School Civics Showcase, on Saturday, May 30 at 2-3:30 PM at Powers Hall, Needham Town Hall.

All high school students in MA are required to select a state or local issue and prepare an advocacy plan. At the Showcase, more than 100 eleventh grade students in 50 groups will share their research, materials, and positions in a science fair type setting.

The public is encouraged to come and talk with the next generation of policy advocates about the issues important to them. Visit www.lwv-needham.org for details.
