The British Are Coming! On Saturday, May 30th Needham will once again host The King’s Own, a group of reenactors who portray the British Redcoats who sought to prevent the American Revolution.  Adults, teens, and children are invited to attend the fun, educational event that helps commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of our country.

See authentic uniforms, weapons, and drill, ask questions, and learn about the challenging days that led ordinary people of Needham into direct confrontation with their King and his army. Learn how British soldiers lived, fought, and made their way though seven years of warfare from Canada to the Caribbean. This event is sponsored by the Needham Cultural Council and is free to all.
