• It’s a win-win situation, as the Needham Public Health Department takes on an initiative to locate all the AED devices in town. Here’s how you can help, and have a chance to do a little something for yourself, as well!
Municipalities often take on challenges to achieve designations in areas that emphasize their values, from safeguarding the environment to honoring their veterans. The Needham Public Health Department in pursuing a new designation for the town: The HEARTSafe Community. In order to qualify, they need to map and track all the automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in town. But that doesn’t have to be a chore. In fact, they see it as an opportunity.
