Join focus groups to help MetroWest SHINE better serve bilingual residents and people with disabilities.

MetroWest SHINE provides free, unbiased health insurance counseling to Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers across 22 cities and towns. We are launching an effort to ensure Medicare resources reach underserved populations by:

• Raising awareness of SHINE’s services among bilingual individuals and individuals with disabilities.
• Recruiting and training bilingual volunteers or agency staff to provide support as SHINE counselors.
• Partnering with community spaces and identifying host sites, making it easier for clients to receive assistance in an environment they already know and trust.
