• Often seen as support players to other teams, the Needham High School Cheer Team are talented athletes in their own right. This weekend, the squad is having a moment all their own.
Charged with building morale and lending their efforts to boost other teams throughout the year, the Needham Cheer team spends a lot of time working on the sidelines. However, they are taking center stage as they compete in the New England tournament. Enjoying the journey are an outstanding group of Rockets who have built up the program over the last few years. They spoke with Sports Producer Kristen Connors alongside Coach Dina Hannigan in advance of their milestone matchup.
